Annie Johnson

Biography: Miss El Paso Texas USA 2020, Annie Johnson is a spirited, 19-year-old individual who recently finished her first year at The University of Texas at El Paso with a 4.0 GPA. She is a biological sciences major and plans to attend medical school to become an Obstetrician/Gynecologist. She attended Eastwood High School where she excelled in academics and athletics. She was a member of the National Honor Society, the Science Honor Society, volleyball team captain, and a member of the track team. As a result of her hard work and efforts, she was voted Miss Blue and Gold, a prestigious honor that is voted on by the entire high school faculty and awarded to a graduating senior who represent a role model of determination and passion for excellence and character. Along with her love for chemistry, Annie enjoys the visual arts, coaching volleyball, and preparing for the Miss Texas USA competition. As Miss El Paso, Annie intends to advocate for the arts in education. Her mother is an art teacher and she has seen first-hand how the arts lead to a significant positive impact on academic and social development in children. She hopes to reach out to organizations that cultivate the importance of art education in her community. Through her efforts, she hopes to empower the youth of El Paso through the arts.
Lauren Harper

Lauren Harper Miss El Paso Teen Texas USA 2020 is 18 years old and graduated from Eastwood High School. Lauren played volleyball and ran truck in high school, she was a student council officer and was a member of National Honor Society. She will be attending The University of Texas at El Paso to continue her education where she will major in rehabilitation sciences to become a physical therapist. She loves to workout, watch Netflix, play sand volleyball, and spend time with friends. Lauren’s platform is based on bringing awareness to child obesity and helping to promote children and young teens of the importance of living a healthy and active live style. Her plans for the year are to represent El Paso in the best way possible and to make her year memorable.
